HEIC to JPG Converter ("Company", "we", "us", "our") provides a free, browser-based tool that converts HEIC and HEIF image files to JPG format (the "Service"), accessible at heictojpg.barev.la.

The Service runs entirely within your web browser. No files are uploaded to any server. No account is required. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your country), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to convert your own HEIC/HEIF images to JPG format for personal or commercial purposes, provided that:

You retain full ownership of any images you convert using the Service. We have no access to your files and no rights over your content.

You are solely responsible for the images you choose to convert. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to process those images and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

We are not responsible for any content processed through the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be available at all times or without interruption.
The conversion output will be error-free, lossless, or meet your expectations.
The Service will be compatible with all devices, browsers, or file types.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend keeping backup copies of your original HEIC files before converting.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HEIC TO JPG CONVERTER, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of data, files, or images resulting from use of the Service.
Corruption of converted files.
Loss of profits or business opportunities.
Any damages arising from reliance on the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00), reflecting the fact that the Service is provided free of charge.

7. Intellectual Property

The design, text, and code of this website are owned by HEIC to JPG Converter. The underlying conversion library (heic2any) is open-source software released under the MIT License.

You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the website's design or content without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Content

The Service may load resources from third-party CDNs (specifically Cloudflare). We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. No Illegal Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including copyright law, privacy law, or laws regarding the distribution of illegal content.
